Adoption

When an adoption order is made the legal connection between the natural parents and the child ceases and the child is considered with regards to the rights and duties of parents and children in relation to each other as if the child was born to the parents in lawful wedlock.

We are happy to advise prospective adopters, natural mothers and natural fathers in relation to their respective rights in what can become a very lengthy and complex process.

Our experienced solicitors can advise you on this area of the law. We will advise you based on your own particular situation.

If you have any queries in relation to adoption please contact aoife@fof.ie or our general office at fof@fof.ie .Alternatively please telephone us on 059 9130500 to speak to a solicitor or to make an appointment.
